Who are we

The Church of the Nazarene is the largest denomination in the classical Wesleyan-Holiness tradition. The doctrine that distinguishes the Church of the Nazarene and other Wesleyan denominations from most other Christian denominations is that of entire sanctification.  Nazarene's believe that God calls Christians to a life of holy living that is marked by an act of God, cleansing the heart from original sin and filling the individual with love for God and humankind. This experience is marked by entire consecration of the believer to do God's will and is followed by a life of seeking to serve God through service to others. Like salvation, entire sanctification is an act of God's grace, not of works. Our pursuant service to God is an act of love whereby we show our appreciation for the grace that has been extended to us through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Vision & Mission

The Vision of Palmer Family Church is simple:

To produce Entirely Sanctified, Grace-filled, Disciple-making Disciples.

The Mission of Palmer Family Church is:

Engage our Community so people Encounter Christ and Experience His grace.

In order to accomplish this mission we under stand three phases of this process.

Engage our Community - Engaging our community begins with each person engaging in a relationship with Christ. Then we realize we are called to engage in relationships with our immediate family. Next we engage in relationship with our church family and ultimately we engage our greater community we know as the Mat-Su Valley.

Encounter Christ - This is all about Sunday morning worship. We design each service in a way that best creates an environment where you can come as you are, but leave a changed person. You can trust you are going to hear about the love God has for you through Jesus Christ.

Experience His Grace - God calls to each person in the bible by saying, "Come to me all who are tired and heavy burdened, and I will give you rest. Jesus will receive you as you are, but doesn't want to leave you that way. We believe God desires a deeper relationship with you and we have put in place ways for you to take a deeper step in your faith journey by creating Life Groups.
